EXCAVATIONAL RESEARCH – PREPARATION AND ORGANIZATION
Our team’s priority is the safety of the finds from the moment they come to light, as well as the detailed recording of the conditions in which they are found.
Every detail is precisely noted by the team’s architect and designer.
Using our own immediate conservation and packaging materials, our specialized craftsmen ensure the multiple safety of the ancient objects from the moment of discovery, until their safe transport out of the field.
Faithful to the duty of systematic recording, our archaeologist in charge records the progress of the excavation daily, using the diary as the only written document of the excavation process.
The site photographer undertakes to ensure the correct recording of the finds in their exact location, after each change of data. The immediate recording and preservation of the finds by our archaeologists is the main concern of the company, in order to maintain them in good condition without damage.

OUR TEAMS ARE MADE UP OF PROFESSIONALS WITH MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THEIR FIELD.
Utilizing the valuable human resources of specialized technicians, we are able to develop an action plan perfectly adapted to the requirements of each project individually, with the following main elements:
- Property inspection and assessment of the probability of finding antiquities, in view of carrying out excavations.
- Coordination, planning and scheduling of the research work that precedes the implementation of the project, in consultation with the competent services and the private investor. Monitoring of the archaeological part of the physical object as well as its possible modification during the implementation of the archaeological work, starting from the design and drawing of an excavation grid.
- Ensuring compliance with the archaeological research schedule within the framework of the implementation of the project, as well as the planned protection and display of the findings.
